During the Cybertronian War, Silverbolt and the other Aerialbots could combine to form Superion.
Silverbolt and his fellow Aerialbots were tasked with protecting the Mechtech cargo aboard Stratosphere. However, they were unaware that Starscream was after the Mechtech. Silverbolt and some other Aerialbots deployed to take down Starscream, but their foe overcame them and gunned them all down.
