It's not often that any child grows up to be more mature and maybe even smarter than their own parents. Tessa Yeager most certainly fills that category. While her optimistic father tends to be overprotective of her, and believes he's been taking care of her ever since her mother died, from her own realistic perspective, she's been taking care of him, and often wonders who will continue to do so after she graduates from high school and moves out on her own, since he's been spending more time and money on inventions than looking for a steady source of income. This, along with knowing that she was accidentally conceived into their lives before they even graduated from high school, have created a barrier between them and leaves her yearning for her own future without her father. It does not ease tensions when she has secret and, barely-legal, relationship with a 20-year-old racecar driver.
Tessa is first seen as a young beautiful blonde teen girl wearing a low cut top and short shorts that's showing her cleavage and bare legs, as she gets out of her friend's car. In her room, she is talking to her boyfriend Shane on her computer. They both flirt with each other. Tessa was not happy when her father brought home a badly broken down Optimus Prime. When James Savoy and his team raided the Yeager family farm Threatening to shot Tessa if Cade didn't tell James where Optimus is. Tessa and her father plus Lucas Flannery rescued by her secret boyfriend which angered cade. When Tessa and her dad and boyfriend escaped K.S.I Tessa was captured along with Optimus into The Knights Ship who was comenderded by Lockdown.Tessa was caught in the war in Hong Kong between Galvatron and K.S.I robots invented by Joshua Joyce (Stanley Tucci).After the battle Tessa and her father and boyfriend were safe and they watched Optimus leave Earth.The Yeagers and Shane live under the remaining Autobots pretection Bumblebee is the new Autobot leader until Optimus returns after the search for the creators.
The Last Knight[]
While Tessa doesn't appear in the The Last Knight she's briefly seen in a photograph Cade has of her and is mention by her father numerous times. Cade mentions to Izabella that after becoming a fugitive of the Transformers Reaction Force, he was forced to cut all contact with her fearing that the TRF might hack into their communication lines or try to use her to find him. Before heading to fight Quintessa, Cade sends her a voice message as well as a picture of Cybertron to her.
