Icepick has no respect for his elders. Or, in fact, for anyone less technologically-advanced than himself and his fellow combiners. He believes they're fit for the scrap heap, and he's only too happy to send them there himself; outmoded Autobots and Decepticons alike had best steer clear of this frigid fanatic.
Later, after his combiner team was destroyed, he desperately sought another partner. He may despise humans greatly, but his alliance with the human traitor, Sergeant Chaos, provides him with the assistance and information he requires. Together, they attacked Sideswipe on icy roads!
