"This is not your planet to rule. The Fallen shall rise again."

-Demolisher to Optimus Prime.

Demolishor was a Decepticon and Constructicon who arrived on Earth following the first demise of Megatron. While Demolishor was not the sharpest tool in the shed, he was smart enough to know when to fight openly and when to stick to the shadows. Coming to Earth to find his leader dead, he went into hiding, gathering other Decepticons who needed a big, blunt instrument to cower behind.

History[]

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen []

After the Battle of Mission City, the leader of the Decepticons, Megatron, was killed. Demolishor arrived on Earth at some point after the battle to find his great leader was dead. Demolishor went to go into hiding in Shanghai, and waited for a new leader to rise. During this time, he was found by Sideways, who used him as living cover from the Autobots, who had began to help N.E.S.T. In hunting down Decepticons who came to Earth to find Megatron, and other Decepticons who died in Mission City.

They eventually tracked down Demolishor, finding him in Shanghai. As Human soldiers approached, he transformed, knocking a helicopter out of the skies and rolling away. He then jumped into a busy freeway and rolled down with a series of dexterous maneuvers and wheel slams, with utter disregard for ongoing and oncoming traffic alike. Underneath his movements, he crushed cars and pickup trucks (and killed everyone inside) that came under his massive wheels, wider than a lane and over twelve times higher than their metal victims. An unfortunate car stuck to his tread and was flattened three times over, undoubtedly mangling and compacting the bodies within beyond recognition, and he even scooped up a car with his giant claw and flung it to its doom, killing the driver and passengers. Streetlights, barriers, freeway sign beams, and the road itself were deftly mangled and steamrolled beneath his treads.

Demolishor continued squashing oncoming cars and families inside by the half-dozen and tossing others off the road when, eventually, he was followed and caught up to by Optimus Prime. Optimus jumped onto Demolishor as he plowed through a bridge, sending police cars flying into the sides of buildings, just before crushing another police car and a flatbed truck. Riding atop the giant Decepticon, Prime fired at Demolishor's arms at point-blank, before demanding the Decepticon "pull over". Flaming remnants of Demolishor's victims stuck to his treads, and each passing second meant an additional unlucky car on the freeway getting obliviously run over, another family pancaked in a fraction of a second. Ironhide came, then knocked off Demolishor off-balance by shooting at his wheel struts, sending Demolishor flying off the motorway, narrowly skirting past cars, and brutally crashing to the ground. Wounded, he attempted to crawl away but was surrounded by Human forces. Optimus Prime and Ironhide approached, and Prime asked if the Constructicon had any last words. Demolisher, with his dying breath stated that Earth was not for the Autobots to rule and that Megatronus would rise again. Optimus Prime then shot Demolishor in the head, killing him,

The message Demolishor stated was taken to NEST, as it says that Megatronus would rise again.

Trivia[]

  • Despite not having any form of ranged attacks, the tie in video game adaptation of Revenge Of the Fallen had depicted him being able to fire salvo of missile artillery from his head during the time when he was spinning his large wheel extremely fast. When chasing after Optimus or other Autobot character, he is also able to fire two smaller missiles from his shoulder arms and very faintly, a machine gun bullets if close enough.
  • In 2010, Terex sold its mining products line (including the Terex RH400 excavator, Demolishor and Scavenger's alternate mode) to Bucyrus International which was then designated as a Bucyrus RH400 mining excavator but then Bucyrus, in turn, was purchased by Caterpillar Inc. in 2011, so Demolishor's alternate mode is now currently designated as Caterpillar 6090.
    • Oddly, in the IDW Comics adaptation for Revenge of the Fallen, Demolisher was depicted as a smaller Caterpillar Excavator.
  • Many Toys, Games and other Media had incorrectly depicted in red colours akin to Scavenger.
